Shot AI respects your privacy and is committed to protecting user data. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Shot AI mobile application.

Shot AI is designed to work without user accounts and without a backend server.
Images
- The app processes images (screenshots or photos) only when you explicitly choose them using:
- Manual import from your gallery, or
- Taking a photo inside the app.
- Images are processed locally on your device to generate explanations.
- Images are not uploaded, stored remotely, or shared by Shot AI.
- Temporary files are deleted automatically after processing.
Usage Data
- Shot AI may store local-only usage data, such as:
- Daily explanation count
- Timestamp of last usage reset
- This data never leaves your device and is used only to manage daily limits.
2. Permissions
Shot AI requests permissions only when required and only after user action:
- Media / Images Access
- Used to let you select screenshots or images from your device.
- The app does not access other files or media types.
- Camera
- Used only when you choose the “Take Photo” feature.
Shot AI does not request background, overlay, accessibility, or intrusive permissions.
3. Advertising (AdMob)
Shot AI uses Google AdMob to display ads.
- Ads are shown in a non-intrusive manner.
- Rewarded ads are optional and shown only if you choose to unlock an additional explanation after reaching the daily limit.
- Banner ads are displayed in designated areas and do not interfere with core app functionality.
- Shot AI does not control the data collected by AdMob.

4. How We Use Information
Shot AI uses information strictly to:
- Provide image explanations
- Enforce daily usage limits
- Improve app stability and performance
No personal data is sold, shared, or used for profiling.

- Shot AI does not maintain servers or databases containing user data.
- You can clear all local data at any time from the app settings.
6. Children’s Privacy
Shot AI is not designed specifically for children under 13.
